At Parkinson Mentors Arizona, our mission is to provide peer support to people newly diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, and individuals with established Parkinson's, so each person feels supported and empowered.
We understand that every individual's journey with Parkinson's disease is unique. Our peer mentors travel the road of PD with strength, advocacy, positivity, and persistence. We offer local community resources and guidance to help you achieve understanding and feel supported.
Who We Help:
People newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
People with established Parkinson’s disease.
People with Parkinson’s disease living in Maricopa County.
People with Parkinson’s disease who have questions.
People with Parkinson’s disease who want to talk to someone who is experiencing a similar journey.
Our Mentors:
Provide support to peers with Parkinson’s disease.
Listen.
Provide resources.
Speak from personal experience.
Do not provide medical advice.

Have a positive outlook.

Walk the Fight, Run the Distance
Saturday, February 7, 2026 Tempe Beach Park - an inspiring event supporting the community outreach and wellness programs of the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center. Participate by running a timed 5k, walking a 4k or completing a 2-block Fun Walk. There is a way for everyone to participate and at any ability.
